Cookie Notice

Last Updated: July 20, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how The Bryant Park Hotel (“Bryant Park Hotel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website (the “Site”). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes more broadly how we handle your personal information.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them more efficient, and to provide reporting information. Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, tags, and local storage, which we refer to collectively as “cookies” in this Notice. Cookies may be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by a provider we work with), and they may be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (remaining until they expire or you delete them).

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or completing a booking form. These are always active.
  • Analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site by collecting and reporting information anonymously or in aggregate (for example, via Google Analytics). This helps us measure and improve the performance of the Site. This category also includes session replay and heatmap tools, which record interactions such as mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and the pages you view, so we can see how the Site is used. We use Microsoft Clarity for this purpose. These tools do not run unless you consent to analytics cookies.
  • Marketing cookies. May be set through our Site by us or our advertising partners to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant offers on other sites. They do not store directly identifying information but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and device.

3. Cookies and Providers We Use

The table below lists the cookies and third-party providers used on the Site, and the consent category each one belongs to. Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you make a choice. Analytics and marketing providers are blocked until you consent to that category, and are removed if you later withdraw your consent.

Some of these providers may also set cookies on their own domains when their services are enabled. For example, Microsoft may set a MUID identifier on Microsoft domains in connection with Clarity and Microsoft Advertising. Those cookies are governed by the relevant provider’s privacy policy.

We may add or remove providers over time. When we do, we will update this table and revise the “Last Updated” date above.

4. How We Use Cookies

  • To make the Site work and keep it secure.
  • To remember your preferences, including your cookie consent choices.
  • To understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.
  • To deliver and measure marketing and promotional content where you have consented.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit the Site, our cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences by category. You can change your choice at any time by selecting the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of the Site, which reopens the cookie preferences panel.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Because each browser is different, please refer to your browser’s help menu for instructions. Please note that if you disable strictly necessary cookies, some portions of the Site may not function properly.

6. Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal where required by law. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may still choose to opt back in using the cookie preferences panel.

7. Changes to This Cookie Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
